Kung Fu Hustle

My guess is that Kung Fu Hustle has already found it's audience, but then so has every other movie I write about. All I can say is if you haven't seen it, do. If you have ever laughed at a Chuck Jones Road Runner cartoon or at a Peter Sellers Pink Panther movie, then you will enjoy it. It's the same family of wit. It's a comedy that actually transcends a cultural barrier, the rarest thing in movie-dom. Jaded as I am, it's rare that I actually hear or see a joke that I haven't seen before, this is why people like me enjoyed The Chappelle Show. Kung Fu Hustle hits you from fresh angles and you actually get to laugh from something other than obligation.
